Bianca Steck shares a special live session featuring ‘Maybe We Danced’ and ‘Strange Rooms’, two songs from her debut album ‘The Joy of Coincidences’ that feel newly born in this intimate performance. Recorded at Northward Acoustics studio, these versions let all the instrumental elements come together in real time: harp, piano, strings, electronics… and Bianca’s voice at the centre of it all. It was the first moment she heard the full arrangements taking shape around her as she sang, a first dance with her own songs.
There’s a tender magic in that encounter. Songs that once lived quietly as demos in her Brussels apartment, then separately as studio recordings, suddenly woke up and stood together for the first time. A rediscovery, or simply a new coincidence, that brings fresh light and emotion to two key pieces of Bianca’s dream-like world.
